Davis Paint was founded in 1938 by James T. Davis in Lynchburg, VA. Their paints and stains have superior quality and great value for homeowners and contractors. Davis offers paint lines that utilize the power of Microban technology, which is safe, effective and durable antimicrobial product protection that inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew that can cause stains and odors on the dried paint film.
At Capps, we also offer a wide variety of exterior stains. Each product line has its own share of loyal customers who trust products to meet their needs. We also carry Daich Coatings, which is a multi-purpose decorative stone product that can be used on just about any stable surface. In 2010, we introduced deck restore and concerete restore by Synta. These revoltionary new products allow you to add new life to your dock, deck, or patio surfaces with a tough, durable, polymer coating that will last for years.
In 2011, we were proud to add the Davis Frost line of high quality paints and stains to our home decor products family. These coatings offer superb coverage and spreadability, and excellent value, and… all Davis Frost products are manufactured right here in Virginia.
In addition to the best products, we also offer the most knowledgeable, dedicated paint staff in the area. Together, the Paint department team has more than 40 years of experience. We’ve heard it all and can answer any question customers may have. We also have an on-staff artist, Jim Ashton, who is happy to help customers plan and carry out decorative paint projects. Steve Furrow, also on staff, is skilled at repairing paint sprayers and can get customers’ sprayers back in action quickly.
